Life in Africa
WE Center Membership costs shs. 25,000 per year per member and is available by
invitation only from an existing member in good standing,
or from a registered member community in Uganda. If you would like to join a WE
Center but you don't know any members yet,
try getting to know
us online!
Upon joining, members learn skills and start earning
shares in the LiA enterprise through participating in a variety of
WE Center social and productive activities and earning
bananas. The more
banans a
member earns, the more access s/he has to a growing array of
unique opportunities and services, including: adult literacy
courses, internet4change training, online sales and savings
programs, access to microfinancing, leadership training, and
part-time employment.

Grassroots community groups,
social enterprises and NGOs in Uganda can now
register and invite their members to
join the Life in Africa WE Centers in
Uganda.
The community membership fee of shs.
100,000 per year includes full access to
WE Center
benefits and services for up to 5 of your staff, volunteers or
member beneficiaries. Any of your members who participate in
i4c learning teams
will learn to connect to, and adapt LiA's online systems and strategies,
to benefit your organization and members in many ways.
Member communities can
invite additional members to join LiA for the reduced price of shs.
20,000 per year.
