Child to Child
In association with the
Opok
Farms Village project, Life in Africa WE Center programs in Uganda, and
some really
dynamic global collaborators, the Community Crafts Shop is introducing a
very special line of toys,
clothing and social awareness activity products for your children in
2008.

Life in Africa's Child to Child charity
gift campaign will connect your children with disadvantaged
children we know in Uganda, in uniquely meaningful ways.
Here's a sampling of the webbed impact
concepts for youth we've been working on, to help you deepen your
child's sense of active global citizenship in a meaningfully
connected world:
- T-shirts for two
- Buy a toy-give a toy
- Greeting card exchanges
- PeaceTiles art exchanges
- Disposable camera trades
- Child to child solidarity bracelets
- Charity gift savings banks

join us
there if you'd like to participate in developing the Child to
Child campaign and product line in any way.
Browse the links
below for examples of the ideas we've been experimenting with, and to meet
some folks we've been talking to in 2007, to get a flavor for what this unique
new charity
gift campaign for kids has in store:
Watch this space as Life in Africa's Child to Child
charity gift campaign all comes together soon!

US schools and youth groups are also slated for Life in Africa launch in early 2009. Email us
if a group of young people you know would like to participate in the pilot
round of competing with other groups in selling Life in Africa

causes,
and to help educate & provide special Life in Africa eXperiences for
vulnerable Ugandan youth as well.
